In her new collection, Exposure from Thames & Hudson, Amber Creswell Bell explores the work of forty contemporary photographers from Australia and New Zealand, including Melbourne locals Tom Blachford, Atong Atem and wani toaishara.Join us for the Melbourne launch with Amber Creswell Bell and Tom Blachford, in conversation with interior designer Chiara Hunwick, exploring how Exposure captures bold perspectives, striking landscapes, and the cultural richness of the region.
Exposure is Amber's seventh book. Her previous books include Clay (2016), A Painted Landscape (2018), Ken Done: Art Design Life (2021), award-winning titles Still Life (2021) and Australian Abstract (2023) and About Face (2024).
Tom Blachford is a fine art photographer who uses long exposures and natural light to transform familiar architectural spaces into surreal, cinematic scenes. His work explores the edge of human perception, inviting viewers to imagine hidden narratives within built environments.
