Art and wellbeing in nature (SOLD OUT)

About
Come along to a series of five nature-based, plein-air workshops designed to use art-making as a pathway to improved wellbeing, mental health and social connection.Participants will be guided to create artworks inspired by the natural environment, with the process fostering creativity, resilience and shared community experiences.
The completed works will be transformed into large-scale decals and installed onto bin enclosures, bringing art into everyday public spaces.
Participants are encouraged to commit and attend all five sessions, as each workshop builds on and complements the next.
SESSIONS:
Every Friday in October (3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 October), 10-12pm.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Sally Ann Conwell is an award-winning artist and illustrator, art educator and clinical art therapist. Specialising in art-based community development and therapeutic arts, Sally believes in art's unique ability to provide healing, and connection to nature, community and ourselves.
