Professional Development activities for Teachers and Educational Support Staff and school-based therapists who want more knowledge and understanding of autism and how it impacts the classroom.These workshops will assist attendees to increase their understanding of the fundamentals of ASD and develop skills to better support autistic students.
Thursday 30th October 2025
9.30-11am Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder and the impact of learning
11:30am-1pm Developing Language and Literacy Skills in learners with Autism Spectrum
1:30pm-3:30pm Creating Inclusive Classrooms
These will be presented by Pamela Mathieson, Principal and our experienced staff.
Cost: $170 per person (includes hand out notes, examples of visual supports, morning tea and certificate)
Location: Northern School for Autism 35 Duncan Road Lalor
