The eccentric inventor, Mr. Finikey, along with his friends Abigail, Beatrice and Charlie, has set himself the challenge of travelling around the world in eighty days? No, minutes! How is that possible? He has built a machine that can take you anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye. However, the engine is unique. Instead of the standard, traditional energy source, this machine runs instead on the power of song!Around the World in 80 Minutes is a collaboration between the Canaipa Amateur Theatre Society (CATS) and the Bay Island Singers (BIS), blending theatre and choir into a night of laughs and music.
