Karen Law at the Zamia Theatre

Karen Law is a songwriter, meditator, mother, teacher, tea-drinker, guitarist and optimist. She's been writing songs for over 30 years and now performs them with her son Murray, creating those trademark family harmonies. Karen writes important songs about things that matter. In 2020 she won the Alistair Hulett Songwriting Trophy for her song Wildflower Woman about environmental activist Kathleen McArthur. In 2023 she was given a TSA award at Tamworth for her tribute to Archie Roach. Her latest album Lifeline is a snapshot of modern Australia containing reflective yet optimistic songs about the country we live in. Karen and Murray will be joined by Scott Gaedtke on keyboard for this concert. Expect heartfelt stories and songs from this family-based band who know how to create a truly authentic show. Grass-roots folk music at its finest. Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start.Date
