In 1984, Charles known as, ‘Chuck’ Hull invented stereolithography (SLA), a method of 3D printing where designers create a 3D model that is then printed layer by layer into a solid, physical object. This technology has disrupted the Conventional Construction process. In the conventional construction process for homes, a variety of materials will be used, from concrete floor slabs to bricks to build the walls. 3D house-printing technology is using robots. This technology is capable of slashing build time (walls, foundation and footing of the home can be completed within 24 hours, if not within days), eliminating errors which leads to much less waste material, build homes more efficiently and with less harm to the environment.
3D Printing technology is changing the world of production.
Join our Spring Holiday Program to learn how 3D Printing technology has changed the Conventional Construction Industry and the way in which the future is heading towards.
We also explore how engineers use technology to help make the world a better place.
About our WORKshop
Our Engineering & Robotics workshops were especially designed to help kids fall in love with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths). It is about experimental learning, hands-on fun and thinking outside the box. If you've missed out on our weekly after-school programs, don't miss these.
- Up STEM Skills - learning is one thing, learning to learn is superior. We focus on analysing the problem, experimenting and prototyping to promote a lifelong love for STEM.
- Ignite Curiosity - we don't just remember answers, we leave participants with tantalising questions to promote curiosity and further exploration.
- Build Confidence - we focus on mastery giving participants the opportunity to experience 'I Can Do It'.

WHAT PARENTS & TEACHERS SAY
Thousands of happy parents are glad they enrolled their children into our holiday workshops operating at some 25 locations in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA.
'My son attended his first Holiday Camp, and he had a great time. He came back home smiling, with lots of ideas to continue his building with new Lego creations. He went for both days, which was a good amount of time for him. The staff were helpful and attentive when I had questions regarding my son's attendance. Thank you so much!
- Lisa from NSW
Elliot has continued to talk about how fun Engineering Camp was. A wonderful camp and he will be attending again in the future.'
- Larissa from NSW
'Fantastic experience for young minds. Nate had an absolute blast and cannot wait to do it again next year. He is still talking about it nearly 2 weeks later. Thank you
- Parents from past camp
'Thoroughly engaging work. Hands on Instructions very clear. Good mix of instructions quickly followed by activity.High degree of participation and engagement'
- Nola, Teacher & Parent from WA
'The kids had very little interest or exposure to this form of design thinking prior to the day. Afterward they have been more engaged in robotics and coding tasks.'
- Michelle from Orange
