The Dandenong Ranges Literary Festival

The Dandenong Ranges Literary Festival is here!
Award-winning Australian author Hannah Kent will kick off the inaugural Dandenong Ranges Literary Festival with a discussion about the importance of building a sense of place in storytelling. She will speak at the Festival’s Opening Night at Cameo Cinemas in Belgrave on Friday, October 17.
On Saturday, October 18, a host of Australian authors will join panels and workshops covering a range of genres and topics designed to stimulate ideas and inspire readers and writers.
There will also be a range of free community events, including book readings, writing sprints, a book ‘hide and seek’ and a street ‘book swap’ through Belgrave, where locals can swap and share books.
