The Alphacrucis Law Lecture Series gives lawyers and the wider community the opportunity to hear leading legal scholars address critical issues in Australia and the world, such as constitutional law, legal philosophy, corporate law, law and religion, and international law.We are delighted to announce Emeritus Professor Gabriël A. Moens AM as the inaugural speaker, presenting “Critical Thinking and The Rule of Law”.
His lecture will be preceded by Professor Augusto Zimmermann, Foundation Dean of Law at Alphacrucis, prolific author and former WA Law Reform Commissioner, who will address “The Rule of Law as a Culture of Legality”, the subject of his PhD thesis submitted at Monash twenty years ago.
The evening will open with Keith Francis, barrister and law academic, with expertise in succession law, equity, and family law.
Entry is free, but registration is essential.
