About
This Cultural Day invites the broader Australian community to step into the heart of Palestine, its heritage, and its enduring spirit. Under the banner “One Land, Many Faiths, One Heart,” the day will be a celebration of the richness of Palestinian culture through food, music, art, and family-friendly activities.Visitors will be immersed in discovery: the Marquee transformed into the old Muslim and Christian quarters of Palestine, with displays of traditional clothing, artefacts, and food stalls. Ambient sounds will echo the souks, churches, and masjids of Jerusalem, engaging all five senses for an unforgettable experience. The Elaine Room will provide a welcoming space for families, offering children’s activities such as face painting, henna, and a designated prayer area.
Free food, cultural displays, and activities will be at the heart of the event, alongside a marketplace items will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go directly toward Taqwa’s ongoing support.
