About
Marián Budoš is an award-winning composer and guitarist. He studied in Europe and won the SOZA Composer of the Year award in 1998. His program features original compositions inspired by nature, the war in Ukraine, his dog, plus his own arranged medley – a tribute to his favorite rock artists.Sam Roberts is a classical guitarist currently studying performance at the ANU. He has performed at numerous Embassies and at the National Arboretum for the UAE National Day. His program includes works from the Baroque, Romantic, and 20th century periods by Arcas, Turina, and Weiss, and ends with an arrangement of a 1950s french song 'La Foule' by Roland Dyens.
Tickets include the ~80mins house concert in Canberra's newest performance space, The Ivory Room, followed by high tea & drinks. The venue is located in a battle-axe block, so parking is limited. Off-street Parking is available along Guthridge Crescent, Hannah St and at the Kidstart Carpark on Sternberg Crescent.
