Mutable Objects emerge from the VOID at SAE Brisbane, where echoes implode and rhythms grow stranger. Born from 70s funk but warped by Stravinsky, Reich, and whatever surfaces in the moment, the band thrives on polytonal tangles and grooves that feel paradoxically warped and unstoppable at the same time.Guitarist Toby Wren, bassist Chris Pearson, and percussionist John Parker build improvised architectures that shift, fracture, and reassemble—spontaneously made music for unique humans and spaces.
