Bend, Breathe + Break-fast

Prana is life force or breath. Ayama is freedom or expansion. Together, pranayama refers to the expansion of our life force by way of the breath.
This equinox, the equal measure of light and dark, and in celebration of Spring that is Kapha season and deeply connected to the lungs, foundational practices of pranayama will be explored alongside gentle movement. We will finish our time together with an ayurvedic seasonal breakfast.
It may seem simple and sometimes the feeling may be subtle, it is also deep, and can give way to profound change. How we breathe affects us on each level - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Join Breath of the Heart mentor and yoga teacher, Jo Leishman in a morning exploring breath to support your whole body-mind and learn tools to bring clarity to your respiratory system for the spring season.
After the class we will break fast together with a nourishing and balancing seasonal vegetarian breakfast aligned with Ayurvedic principles.
