Sustainable Gift Wrapping Workshop

Hosted by our Shire of Broome Waste Education Officer.Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where you'll learn creative and eco-friendly gift-wrapping tips and tricks—just in time for the festive season! Led by our Waste Education Officer, this session will inspire you to reduce waste by using reusable and low-waste materials for wrapping.
🌿 Participants will learn the art of Furoshiki gift wrapping — a traditional Japanese technique that uses a simple square of cloth to wrap, fold, and tie items ranging from gifts to groceries.
🛍 Bring a small or medium-sized gift you'd like to wrap, along with a scarf or piece of fabric to use. If you don’t have these, we’ll have spare materials and empty boxes available for practice.

No experience needed—just bring your creativity and a smile!
