FOREST AND FALLS LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Natural Bridge, Springbrook National Park
Join me at one of my very favourite places, Natural Bridge in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Springbrook National Park for my Forest and Falls landscape photography workshop.
Together we’ll cover all aspects of creating beautiful rainforest images, capture stunning waterfalls, intimate forest details and flowing mountain streams. Because it’s a small group, we’ll have plenty of time to discuss composition, using filters, long exposures, macro photography and so much more.
You’ll leave the Forest And Falls landscape photography workshop with some incredible photographs, plus skills you’ll be able to use wherever you and your camera find yourself.
WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS:
Stunning Waterfalls
Master long exposure and make waterfalls unforgettable—smooth, flowing water against bold, natural textures creates photos that feel alive.
Rainforests
Rainforests are nature’s cathedral—learn to use your lens to reveal rich textures, hidden details, and the play of light and shadow that makes every frame magical.
Forest Details
Learn to bring the rainforest to life in the tiniest details—zoom in on leaves, fungi, bark and lichen to reveal textures and colours that tell their own hidden stories.
Flowing Streams
See water differently—explore how cascading flows become painterly streaks and patterns when you capture them with intention and slow shutter speeds.
Composition
Great photos start with great composition—frame your subject and balance elements in the scene to turn ordinary landscapes into captivating stories.
Polarising Filters
Take control of light and reflection—polarising filters help you reduce glare, enrich colors, and turn ordinary scenes into striking, vibrant photographs.
Macro Techniques
See the rainforest like never before—discover macro shots that uncover the delicate leaves, shimmering droplets, and miniature details that make every close-up mesmerising.
ND Filters
Learn to slow down time in your shots—neutral density filters make fast-moving water and skies appear soft and flowing, creating a dreamlike, cinematic effect that transforms your images.

Yes! When making your booking simply tick the box requesting transport. The van will depart from Cohort Innovation Space at Southport at 12.30pm. You are also welcome to self-drive and meet us at Natural Bridge at 1.30pm.
I'm not very experienced, am I still able to attend?
Yes! While a basic understanding of your camera is an advantage, I adapt my tuition to photographers of all levels. Beginners are most welcome.
What photography gear do I need?
What you'll need:
- Mirrorless / DSLR Camera
