Join this Landcare event at a First Nations native plant nursery to help re-establish critically endangered Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub (ESBS). Learn how to propagate native plants and maintain seedlings, and tend to traditional bushfood gardens and learn about the cultural significance of plants.
No experience required, you will be supported by Landcare Supervisors who welcome you to Country, give a safety induction, and demonstrate the tasks.
Lunch is provided, along with all gloves, tools and equipment to undertake the tasks on the day.
This activity requires a low to moderate level of physical activity, however please advise if you require any modifications for any injuries or disabilities.
