About
Walk the magnificent ridgelines of Mansfield's rolling hills from Glenroy Road/Terry Rd to Mansfield Botanic Park over Mt Terry and Mt Battery. Full walk (rated moderate): approx 18kms, Half walk: 8kms. For a brisk walker, the total estimated time is 4 hours.This annual walk is an important education fundraiser for Friends of Venilale who sponsor scholarships for rural secondary and university students in Timor Leste.
It is the only opportunity for the public to hike this farmland and experience the beauty of spring in the hinterland paddocks of Mansfield. You will need to climb over fences using stiles and navigate paddock terrain through spring growth - it's like being a child again and the kids will love it!
