Round the Sun represents a reflection on my experience during a post-Covid descent into and recovery from significant mental and physical illness. Music became the centre for me, affording me moments of clarity, equanimity and even beauty during times of intense difficulty. Several of the pieces are directly connected to specific experiences, while others emerge out of a broader contemplation on how we react to periods of crisis.
