Join Sunny Li, Samuel Hill and Cady Lin for an afternoon of Romantic music exploring passions and boundaries of the human spirit. Through echoes of love, of life and of death, this program presents you with a collection of poetic and emotional works from the 19th century. In the first half of the concert we hear music illustrating rigid entanglements between love and passion and the unbearable weight associated with love in this era. The second half, a solemn and deep reflection on humanity through music set upon words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.Date
