Freaky Friday the MusicalBased on Mary Rodgers’ beloved 1972 novel and the hit Disney films, this fresh new musical features a book by Bridget Carpenter with music and lyrics by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey.
The story follows an uber-organized mother and her spontaneous teenage daughter who magically swap bodies the day before Mom’s wedding. To switch back, they’ll have to step into each other’s shoes — literally — and learn a whole lot about family, love, and understanding along the way.
Packed with laugh-out-loud comedy, heartfelt family moments, and a high-energy pop-rock score, this one-act version runs for 90 minutes and will keep you entertained from start to finish!
