This day will start at 10am at a meeting room in Berninneit in Cowes, include a catered lunch, and field walk to discuss weeds and rabbit proof fencing techniques at the new Cowes Recreation Reserve, finishing at 2pm.
Our speakers for the day include Bass Coast Landcare Network staff Bill Barry, our Leading hand for our works crew who will share his extensive weed control experience, our Invasive species team Aaron Stephens and Jack Harriss sharing information on rabbit and fox control programs and options, and Lisa Wangman, our Education, Training and Communications manager on community needs, working together and connecting people for more effective impacts.
