Gluten-free German tarts

Pastry-based tarts are a variety of German cake that one simply can't do without! So, this class is entirely focussed on creating delicious tarts that are encased in beautiful pastry. And most importantly, it is gluten-free!
I will show you how to make fabulous pastry - you wouldn't even know that it is gluten-free! I will also give you lots of tips how to handle pastry - it is a lot easier thank you think! And then we will make some of my favourite tarts. These may include a pear tart with a lemon myrtle-infused custard and scrumptious butter crumble, German baked cheese cake with berries, as well as plum, apricot, rhubarb or berry tarts. So yummy!
The class is designed to provide you with the skills and confidence to replicate each recipe at home. I also keep the classes small (with a maximum of 6 participants), so that there is plenty of opportunity for questions and one-on-one conversations to maximise your learning experience.

COST and inclusions
$160 per particpant plus booking fees. Hands-on class, duration of 4 - 4 1/2 hours. You take home one of each cake that you make, as well as the recipes, and a light lunch (platters with dips, cheese, vegies, fruit and delicious home-made gluten-free bread) will be offered at the end of the class.
