RAPTUROUS ROMANCE brings together violinist Matthew Tsalidis and pianist John Martin, two of the region’s most recognised performers, in a repertoire celebrating the rich emotional palette and timeless beauty of classical music from the Romantic era and beyond.The performance begins with the expressive ROMANCE by Amy Beach, then at its core the glowing SONATA IN A MAJOR by Johannes Brahms, followed by sparkling selections from THE NUTCRACKER by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, concluding with the rhythmic fire of the LIBERTANGO by Astor Piazzolla.
