Angus Gill has chosen Petersham Bowlo for the Sydney Album Launch of his new album 'Postcards'. For this show Angus will be joined on stage by the highly talented Clare O'Meara on fiddle & accordion.Now based in Nashville, where he’s been writing, producing and collaborating with some of the best in the business, the Golden Guitar winner and ARIA nominee returns to Australian stages with his sharpest, funniest, and most heartfelt show to date.
One of the country’s most versatile creatives, Gill is a hit songwriter, producer, novelist and natural-born entertainer. With 18 number-one singles on Australian Country Radio, and five ARIA-charting albums, he’s worked with legends including Steve Earle, Buddy Miller, Diesel and Eric McCusker.
His songs cut deep, and his live shows keep crowds in stitches. 'Postcards' is a vibrant reimagining of beloved Australian songs through a Nashville bluegrass lens, featuring covers of Split Enz, Gang Gajang, Mondo Rock, Gotye, Thelma Plum and more.
