About
This is a ONE-DAY workshop with Jeanette Carter, a longtime member of Basketmakers of Victoria.Jeanette is a registered Art Teacher who has been teaching basket weaving since 1986, including with the Saltwater Creek Basketry Group in Queensland.
This workshop is suitable for everyone. You will learn how to weave a shape with vine and fill the spaces with various fibres. A range of fibres will be provided, and Jeanette will talk about where and when to gather them.
You will choose whether to make a Freeform Basket, a Wall Basket or a Random Shape to take home.
