In 1973, a young Graham “Skroo” Turner and his friends bought a double-decker bus, sold tickets to eager travellers, and set off on the adventure of a lifetime. What began as a spontaneous road trip across Europe would unknowingly spark a movement that would change the future of travel forever.

Told through reflective interviews with Skroo, Bill, and some of the original travellers, this documentary captures the laughs, the challenges, the tears, and the unforgettable spirit of discovery that defined their journey. It was raw, unplanned, and filled with the kind of magic that only comes from throwing yourself into the unknown.

Fast forward 50 years, and a new traveller, Cody, who has never left Australia, sets out to follow in their footsteps. Guided by the optimism and adventurous spirit of Skroo, Cody and his crew climb aboard a modern bus and embark on their own odyssey across Europe. Along the way, they revisit iconic places, meet unforgettable people, and reflect on the universal drive to explore, connect, and step outside our comfort zones.

More than a road trip, this is a love letter to travel itself, an inspiring reminder that the world is best experienced together, with curiosity, courage, and an open heart.
