Martijn Wilder is one of the leading global voices on climate change law, sustainable finance and the net-zero transition. Over three decades he has advised governments and institutions around the world, helped establish Australia’s clean energy architecture, and built the global climate law and finance practice at Baker McKenzie.As the founder of Pollination, Martijn leads a global investment and advisory firm mobilising capital and innovation for decarbonisation and nature-positive solutions. He is also, Chair of the Governing Board of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) in Vienna and Senior Adviser to Serendipity Capital. He has held key board roles with WWF, the Clean Energy Finance Corporation, ARENA and Low Carbon Australia, and was named Financial Times Asia Pacific Legal Innovator for his pioneering work. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his service to environmental law and climate change.
