Threads - A New Australian Eco Musical by Jade Naidu

Created by Jade Naidu, 'Threads' is a love letter to Gumbaynggirr Country and the diverse community of the Mid North Coast. Blending music, poetry, movement and storytelling, this uplifting new work celebrates connection, resilience and hope.
MUSIC & LYRICS: Jade Naidu
DIRECTORS: Bali Padda & Jade Naidu
GUMBAYNGGIRR MOVEMENT: Gloria Mercy
Set in the rainforests along Waterfall Way, 'Threads' follows Pip, a spirited seedling, and her eccentric family of trees and animals as they unite through the hidden “Wood Wide Web” to protect their fragile world from invasive botanical and human forces.
Warm, funny and moving, 'Threads' is perfect for all ages (with just a sprinkle of cheeky language used as a teaching moment for young audiences.) Two sensory-friendly shows and workshops run Tuesday 20 January.
Made possible by the Australian Government's Regional Arts Fund and is supported by Arts Mid North Coast through the NSW Government's Country Arts Support Program.
