About
After last year’s success with over 40 athletes, the Summer Off-Season Academy is back — bigger than ever. Open to players aged 10+, this 6-session program balances fun and challenge with 90-minute sessions combining skills, gameplay, and fitness.Players are grouped by age and ability to ensure tailored coaching. Sessions feature high-level S&C coaches, ex-AFL and VFL-listed players, plus GC SUNS Academy staff. Every athlete receives a Footy Teacher training shirt.
A great way to improve football IQ, stay sharp, and prepare for the season ahead in a supportive, competitive setting.
Led by AJ Dawson – QAFL Captain, Level 2 AFL Coach & GC SUNS Academy ETS Coach.
