AUSTRALIAN PREMIEREFools’ Paradise (Lost?) is a soulful journey into the heart of nature and our place within it. When filmmaker Alexandra Lexton inherits an organic apple farm, she begins a search for people living in deep connection with the Earth. Through artists, ecotherapists, climate thinkers, Indigenous knowledge holders and Marin’s legendary “planetwalker” Dr John Francis, the film gathers voices that offer beauty, insight and healing. These stories speak to the power of nature in transforming grief, addiction, disconnection and despair. With gentle wisdom and a reverence for the Earth, the film invites us to remember what we once knew. Fools’ Paradise (Lost?) honours the sacred wild both around us and within, and reminds us that every step toward reconnection helps create a more balanced, loving and sustainable world.
