Jenni Large leads this months masterclass focusing on both repertoire from Wet Hard Long on Thursday 2nd October.The Dancers Are Dancing Series (monthly edition) was born out of a desire to create low cost/free training opportunities as a response to the challenge of investing in consistent development of practice (amongst community). On the first Thursday of every month come and enjoy a free masterclass where you’ll practice/learn/explore different movement languages and ideologies alongside a bunch of other dance artists/dance nerds.
Each session will have a focus that alternates between two streams:
- Repertoire - the artist shares repertoire/specific movement scores from their body of work. Offering a rare moment to experience the movement language/world of a work
- Practice - the artist leads a session concentrating on their current obsession/practice. This might be their principal (yet ever evolving) movement practice, research for a new work, or a new path of enquiry
