WHAT: De La Salle and Sacre Coeur present Shrek the Musical JR.

Shrek The Musical JR tells the story of Shrek, a misunderstood ogre who lives alone in a swamp until fairytale outcasts are banished there by Lord Farquaad. To reclaim his home, Shrek agrees to rescue Princess Fiona, who is locked in a dragon-guarded tower. Joined by his loyal companion Donkey, Shrek embarks on a humorous and adventurous journey that leads to unexpected friendship, love, and self-discovery.

With music by Jeanine Tesori, book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, Shrek The Musical is based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks Animation film and the book Shrek by William Steig.
