World Teachers’ Day for World Language Teachers

There will be a keynote by Mrs Lintang Paramitasari, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Canberra, on the theme of the value of language learning. After the keynote, this event will follow a TeachMeet format. We invite you to give 5-minute presentations on a topic of your choice. It could be language specific, hints and tips, resources, research, feedback on PL you have attended, wellbeing or cultural events. AV will be available if you need it for your presentation. Light refreshments will be served at the event.Please let us know if you would like to book a 5 minute slot. Presentations that have been booked ahead of the event will be prioritised, but offers from the floor will also be welcome at the event if time allows.
Those interested may adjourn to the Bistro for dinner afterwards. We will check with you at the start of the PL session so that we can advise numbers to the Bistro manager.
