Listen to the trees rustling in the wind and the birds’ calls echoing through the forest 🌳, summoning you to join us in the joyful celebration of MUBSO’s second concert of 2025 - Nature’s Dance.Starting off the scene with Verdi’s La Forza Del Destino of a dramatic love tragedy 💔, we then commence our expedition down a journey of the Vltava River’s wild, strong waters 💨 in Smetana’s The Moldau. Subsequently, prepare to be mesmerised by the skylark’s angelic voice 🪽 in Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending performed by our very own soloist Jack Risbey. Following that, the festivities continue with the Polovstians’ vivacious rituals in Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances 🪇 and finally a lively trek through the Spanish Countryside 💐 to end on a high with Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio Espagnol.
