About
Why is Mary so important to Catholics, and why have so many people been devoted to her over the centuries? Are there biblical foundations for Catholic devotion to Mary? Corio Lara Catholic Parish is please to offer Mary: The Bible and the Mother of God developed by the Augustine Institute. Over 7 weeks, Dr Brant Pitre will unpack the life and identity of Mary with reference to the Old and New Testaments, the life of Jesus, and the early Church fathers. The sessions include a video then move into small group reflection and guided discussion. Each session will commence with supper. Attendees are encouraged to bring a plate/dish of food to share.COURSE COST
