Join us on the happiest day of the year – Love Your Bookshop Day - on Saturday 11 October to enjoy a range of activities and help us help kids to read!!
This year’s LYBD special message is ‘Discover the Magic. Discover You.’, and we have heaps for you to discover instore through the very special day we have planned! Be sure to leave a message on the ‘Book Board’ to tell us what makes books and bookshops magical for you!
This year – we want you to find ducks! Magic ducks, rubber ducks, book ducks, ducks in art, ducks in stories – in fact, ducks all over our shop!
Join our storewide duck treasure hunt with quizzes to go in the draw for book packs, enter duck competitions and raffles for prizes, pick up a kid’s duckie activity pack to take home, and more!
Make sure you stop by our ‘Adopt a Ducky’ Booth to adopt an adorable rubber duck, and have one of our visiting authors write its special story - and don’t miss out on an itty-bitty reading support ducky!
We haven’t forgotten one of the most important ducks of all – Dymocks Duck, the mascot of the Dymocks Children’s Charities – help us support DD to get kids reading all around Australia, and give generously <3
