About
Will Morley's original music is a blend that covers a myriad of styles and eras. Using a piano trio rhythm section a frontline horn section, the music evokes various colours of emotion and depicts intimate scenes explored by the musicianship of the band, as well as drawing upon the influences of the early jazz tradition, the modal styles of the 60s and 70s, through-composed pieces as well as entirely improvised music. The evening consists of compositions featured on Will Morley's new album 'Water and Stone' as well as new works waiting to be premiered.Featuring:
