Join us in celebrating a historic milestone as we honor Susanthika Jayasinghe, Sri Lanka’s pride and the first Asian woman to win an Olympic sprint medal.On 28th September, Sunday, we mark the 25th anniversary of her unforgettable silver medal in the 200m at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. A special felicitation and meet & greet event will be held at Colombar Restaurant, Richmond, to recognize her remarkable achievement and enduring inspiration. Guests will have the opportunity to personally meet Susanthika, share memories, and celebrate her journey. The evening will feature a celebratory dinner, with drinks available at bar prices.
All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to the Susanthika Jayasinghe Foundation, supporting her continued efforts to uplift future generations of athletes. Join us for an evening of pride, gratitude, and celebration as we salute a true legend of Sri Lankan and Asian athletics.
