Beginning her career in orthopaedics as an enrolled nurse, Jilly Kelly progressed to complete a Master of Pain Management at the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle) and a second Master’s degree through Curtin University, becoming a Nurse Practitioner.Since 2012, she has served as the first Nurse Practitioner in pain management in an Australian private hospital. Her role spans clinical care, education, and leadership—providing inpatient pain consultations, mentoring staff, and advancing interdisciplinary practice. She is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Notre Dame’s School of Medicine, with a strong focus on person-centered care, education, and the professional development of nursing colleagues.
