Painting with Peter - Acrylic Painting Workshop
About
Join artist Peter Munday for a one-day plein air painting workshop in acrylics, designed for beginners and those wanting to explore the freedom of painting outdoors. The workshop runs from 9 am – 3 pm, with guided sessions in the morning and afternoon, and will cover techniques for capturing landscapes on location.Supplies:
*All board panels will be supplied.
*Participants can bring their own acrylic paints and brushes, or request sets to be purchased.
Recommended paints (Mont Marte): Titanium White, Yellow Ochre, Raw Umber, Dark Green, Crimson, Cobalt Blue, Burnt Sienna) are available at Red Dot.
Suggested brushes: 1” Flat, ¾” Flat, No.6 Flat, No.6 Round, No.12 Hog Hair Fan, Rigger/Liner – an acrylic set from Kmart or Red Dot will usually cover these.
To have Peter purchase paints ($30) or a brush set ($14), email avas1@wn.com.au
at least one week before.
Bring palette, palette knife, water container, easel, apron, wipes, paper towels, fly spray, sunscreen, and bag for rubbish.
