The Gypsy Cats started busking around the steets of Brisbane in 2016. They consistently pack venues with audiences of all ages, background and music tastes. They are also well loved amongst the local swing dance community, who enjoy the challenge of performing their skilful moves to the quartet's fast paced tunes.
This crack band of professionals with Roberto Fontana's dazzling trumpet, Emma Hales elegant double bass providing a deeper layer of cool sounds to the mix and the captivating musicianship of Mircha Mangiacotti and Rodrigo Santiago on guitars, performing with great panache, has become one of Queensland's best known gypsy bands. They play in countless live music venues and festivals around the State.
This very popular ensemble should not be missed so book early. The Gypsy Cats exciting and energetic sets will have you spell-bound from the beginning to the end.
