Sing, Slam and Soca

About
The Caribbean Association of Victoria was formed in 1986 to bring together the small Caribbean community in Melbourne. Over the years, it has become a community away from home, sharing our rich culture and uniting people through food, music, and shared traditions. Though we come from many different islands, we have traditions in common such as our love of dominoes, music, dance, and the reputation we carry as the people with the most vibes! We are known worldwide for carnival and the sweet sound of steel pan.On Saturday 25 October 2025, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening of Caribbean culture. Enjoy the flavours of Patwah Kitchen, a fully stocked bar serving Caribbean-inspired cocktails, and the excitement of our dominoes competition. If dominoes are not your game, take the mic and sing your heart out in our Caribbean karaoke, with prizes for the top performers. The night will end on the dance floor as DJs Stick Mareebo, Dazz, and Nish Diaz turn up the heat!
