BoSP Melbourne – Talking Fees

Architectural fees are one of the most important – and sometimes most challenging – aspects of practice to navigate. Join the ACA’s Business of Small Practice (BoSP) forum on 6 November for a night with the team behind the In Detail podcast, and a timely conversation all about fees. Take a deep dive with our speakers as they share their experiences and insights into key considerations that influence the structuring, communication and management of fees. This event is being hosted by Brickworks from 6pm Thursday 6 November. Book now!
In Detail is the passion project of Kate FitzGerald, Warwick Mihaly and Mick Moloney, three small practice Directors working in Perth, Melbourne and Ballarat. The In Detail podcast takes listeners behind the scenes of creative business and lifts the veil of silence on running a business to share all the things Mick, Kate & Warwick wished they’d known when they started out. The trio has tackled the taboo issue of fees in the past on episodes of their podcast and a previous BoSP online discussion on fee variations. They’ve previously received an overwhelming amount of feedback from their listeners about the use of client guides, quantity surveyors and things they’ve added to their fee proposals which are relevant to the ongoing conversation happening in the BoSP community about fees, budgets and industry price increases.
Enjoy connecting with the BoSP community and see where this fee conversation goes next. If you have any questions you’d like to team to address, send them on through. Come prepared to ask questions and share your own experiences – both good and bad – with your fellow BoSPers.
