Spend the evening with veteran wine producer, judge and consultant Michael Hill Smith of Shaw+Smith (Adelaide Hills),Tolpuddle Vineyard (Tasmania) and MMAD Vineyard (McLaren Vale).A sixth generation wine producer, growing up in the family-run Yalumba winery in the Barossa Valley, Michael is a true champion for site-specific Australian wine. You could say he knows a thing or two about wine.
Michael will speak candidly about his professional experiences including his first exposure to the Hunter Valley wine region, Len Evans and his early judging days, moving to London to complete his Masters of Wine, and just how important it is to surround yourself with talent.
