THIS WILL BE A REPEAT OF THE OCTOBER 14 WORKSHOP.In this workshop, Andy Dolphin will guide students through a process of analysing aspects of trees, and simplifying the shapes for painting while still delivering an impression of detail. Beginning with pencil and sketch pad, students will learn the importance of thumbnails, value sketches and basic watercolour techniques before moving on to capturing trees in watercolour.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate painters looking to unravel the mystery that trees often present o the artist.
