Tarang Chawla in conversation

About
Join us for a powerful and thought-provoking conversation with Tarang Chawla – lawyer and award-winning writer, speaker and activist for the prevention of violence against women. This special event marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the start of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (25 November to 10 December), a global campaign led annually by UN Women.
With honesty, courage and hope, Tarang will share his journey as a campaigner following the tragic murder of his sister, Nikita, and explore how communities can take action, challenge harmful norms and behaviours and build a future where women and girls live free from violence.
This event is being held by the City of Port Phillip and supported by Respect Victoria and Safe and Equal.
This session will discuss topics related to violence against women, which some participants may find distressing. Support resources will be available.
