Mosaic Magic
Join your teacher Barb Tamassy who has been practicing and teaching Mosaics for over 25 years, having also completed a course in Traditional Mosaics in Ravenna, Italy in 2013.
During this relaxing, introductory day you will be learning about, and will create an art form dating back 2000 years which is still popular in 2025.
In this workshop you will be introduced to the history, tools and materials used in mosaics and will make a small mosaic piece, giving you the skills and information to then complete your own mosaic artwork. No prior knowledge is required, and all tools and materials are included. You will be instructed how to grout your mosaic and given the materials required to complete this task at home.
All Materials will be provided.
Please bring an old towel or cloth. Also bring your own lunch or you may choose to purchase lunch from one of the cafes close by. Morning tea will be provided.
