Clarity & confidence for tricky conversations with kids

About
Workshop format - 3.5hrsWho’s it for - All parents and caregivers of children aged 4-20
When I talk to parents about sex-positive parenting, many admit they’re nervous.
They’re sure how to begin, or worry they’ll say it all wrong.
Some fear that talking openly about sex, pleasure, bodies, consent etc will make their kids
more curious, or worse - encourage them to try things too early!
Here’s the truth: silence does not protect our children.
In fact, research shows that children who grow up in homes where bodies, consent, and
sexuality are discussed openly are less likely to engage in risky sexual behavior.
They’re also better able to set boundaries, communicate their needs, recognise and
communicate about unsafe situations.
Sex-positive parenting is not about encouraging sexual activity. Its not about getting it perfect - it’s about giving our kids the sex education they really need - that many of us never had.
