Art in Public Spaces: Artist Talk & Information Evening
About
Join artist Joel Gailer for a talk on contemporary approaches to public art. It will be an opportunity to deepen your understanding, spark ideas for your own public art projects and connect with fellow creatives over light refreshments.You’ll also hear about our upcoming Art in Public Spaces program, which will support two local artists (open to emerging and established artists, including those new to public art) with $5,000 each to create bold, temporary public artworks in Greensborough in early 2026.
Evening will include:
• Talk by artist Joel Gailer on contemporary ideas, practice and approaches to public art
• Learn about the Art in Public Spaces program and artist brief, with time for questions.
• Get practical tips on applying
• A chance to network with other artists over light refreshments
