Event DescriptionJoin us for a free online webinar designed to help sports clubs, coaches, volunteers, and community members prepare for extreme heat and keep sport safe.
Hosted by Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly in partnership with the Grampians Public Health Unit’s Heatwave HELP Project, this session will cover:
Practical strategies to reduce heat risk in community sport
Club responsibilities and duty of care during heat events
Panel discussion with sporting representatives including Volleyball Victoria
Q&A and resource sharing to support clubs across the Wimmera
This interactive session will equip clubs with knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed decisions when heat events impact sport and recreation activities.
