Suggested Age Group: Year 5 and above  

Difficulty: Challenging   

Pre-Requisite: LEGO Spike Graphic Programming Basics or RobotC Programming Basics

Students learn how to design an Spike robot to compete for sumo-wrestling. They can choose either Spike  Graphic or RobotC to program robots in the game.

LEGO SPIKE Prime combines colorful building elements, easy-to-use hardware and intuitive coding that engage students of all levels. Students learn building and programming robots for fun and improve problem sovling skills.

This program suits any Kindy-Y2 studnts who love LEGO building and want to learn LEGO robotics.  Students will build different robots following a set of guided instructions, and then apply the coding skills learnt to test and understand programs.

H41. Coding Video Games with Scratch3.0

Date: 22, 23 Janurary 2026

Suggested Age Group: Y3 - Y5 students

Difficulty: Easy   Pre-Requisite: None

Scratch3.0 was released by MIT in 2019 and has been widely used for education purpose. Students could express their imagination by designing their own interactive stories, animations and video games using colourful blocks that represent coding concepts. Through programming in Scratch, kids learn fundamental programming concepts such as sequencing, loops, conditionals and variables, etc. And the learning helps them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
